With four available engines, each offering unique levels of power and capabilities, you’ll have fun every moment you’re on the road in the Mustang.

The standard 2.3L EcoBoost® engine ensures you’ll have 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. That much speed will already keep you glued to your seat, though you could also try out the available 2.3L High-Performance Package. This will bump that engine output up to 332 horsepower.

The next available engine is the GT’s 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine. This will give you up to 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. However, the Mach 1 and its 5.0L Tri-VCT V8 engine can achieve up to 480 horsepower. This powertrain also comes standard with the 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching.

When you need the most the 2021 Mustang has to offer, get behind the wheel of the Shelby® GT500® and experience the 5.2L supercharged V8 engine. You’ll have 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque right at your fingertips.

With 21 city and 30 highway MPG on your side, you’ll get to spend more time on the road enjoying this power than sitting at a gas pump fueling up.

2021 Mustang: Custom Drive

There are a few ways you’ll be able to customize your drive with the 2021 Mustang. With the available Selectable Drive Modes, you can control the driving dynamics and choose from the following modes:

• Normal
• Slippery
• Sport
• Track
• Drag Strip

Additionally, the power steering lets you select the ideal power-assist setting. Comfort, Normal, and Sport modes will offer different levels of engagement so you can feel connected to the road or enjoy a smooth ride.
