2021 Ford Edge Review
This year's Ford Edge comes with some outstanding upgrades. The biggest (literally) is that it comes with a huge 12-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Speaking of the system, the SYNC® 4 system is now standard. You also get reverse parking sensors on every trim, and at the Edge ST level, a new seven-speed transmission makes its debut.
The Edge has two powertrains. The base engine that powers all but the Edge ST trim level is the 2.0-liter turbo inline-four. When you step up to the performance-oriented Edge ST trim, you get a twin-turbo six-cylinder 2.7-liter engine.

Trim Levels and Features
The new Edge is available in five trim levels. They are:
- The SE base level
- The SEL that opens the door to some add-on packages
- The ST-Line that is a sportier trim level
- The Titanium that is a luxury trim
- The ST trim that is performance-oriented trim level
Even at the base level, you get that massive 12-inch touchscreen SYNC® 4 system with six speakers and full integration for your smartphone. As you climb in levels, you can add a range of features, from the expected, like power heated seats and full leather upholstery, to premium features like added power outlet, wireless charging, safety technologies, and more.
Safety Technology
Right from the base trim, you get the Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety suite with features like:
- Blind Spot Information System
- Cross-Traffic Alert
- Lane-Keeping System
- Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
At higher trim levels, you can add the available Co-Pilot360 Assist+, which kicks up safety further by adding Adaptive Cruise Control and a unique feature in Evasive Steering Assist to help avoid accidents entirely.

At various trim levels, you can add available features like:
