What to Look for When Choosing a Used Car?

When you come by to see the car in person, there are a few things you’ll want to observe closely. A personal inspection allows you to identify any issues and make the right choice for you.

First, you’ll want to take a look at the exterior of the vehicle. Here, you’ll be looking for any damage to the body, paint, windshield, or tires. Then, look under the hood to check the fluid levels and the condition of the battery.

After the exterior inspection, climb into the cabin to look for clean upholstery and working electronics. Among other things, you’ll want to consider the following features:

• Power-adjustable seats
• Climate control systems
• Touchscreens and other infotainment
• Headlights, taillights, and brake lights

After you check these systems and more, request a test drive, so that you really see how the car runs. Now’s your chance to get a feel for the engine, see how responsive the brakes are, and make note of any weird noises. When you return from the test drive, you’ll have a better idea if this is the car for you.

Once you complete an inspection, take a test drive, and read through the vehicle history report, you’ll be able to make a decision on your next car. At that time, head over to our finance department and select a payment plan.
